About This Programme

Across the two-year, full-time programme, you’ll participate in structured training sessions, strength and conditioning, tactical development and league competition, all designed to help you reach your potential both as a player and as a learner.

You’ll complete nationally recognised sport qualifications alongside your rugby training, providing UCAS points and progression into university, sports coaching or employment in the fitness and leisure industry.

Learners benefit from daily contact with experienced Wigan Warriors coaches, expert tutors, and access to professional facilities used by the first-team squads. The programme promotes technical excellence, personal growth, and academic achievement, preparing every player for future opportunities in higher education, performance rugby or leadership within the sport.
