Warriors Boys Rugby College Programme

Study, train and compete at the home of champions with expert coaching and performance support.

About This Programme

The Warriors Boys Rugby College Programme is a full-time, two-year pathway for talented young players aged 16–18 who want to combine elite-level Rugby League training with academic study. Learners train and study at Robin Park Sports Village - the home of Wigan Warriors - alongside professional coaches and tutors who understand the demands of high-performance sport.

The programme runs from September to July and blends technical, tactical and physical development with classroom learning. You’ll take part in structured training sessions, performance analysis, gym-based strength and conditioning and regular competitive fixtures against other college teams.

Alongside training, you’ll study recognised sport qualifications that provide UCAS points and progression routes into university, coaching or careers in the sport and fitness industry.

This unique opportunity allows learners to experience what it’s like to be part of a professional club environment while developing the resilience, teamwork and discipline required for success on and off the field. Graduates leave as confident, well-rounded individuals ready to progress into Higher Education or professional rugby environments.
