
The BSc Degree in Sports Coaching and Development is a three-year, full-time university-level programme for learners who want to combine advanced academic study with practical coaching experience in professional and community sport settings. It’s designed to develop your expertise in both the theory and practice of sport coaching, leadership and athlete development.
Throughout the degree, you’ll study modules in coaching science, performance analysis, sport for social impact, athlete development and leadership. You’ll also take part in work placements and community projects that apply your learning in real-world contexts.
Assessment is through essays, reports, presentations and applied practical tasks designed to test both knowledge and professional competence.
